Realistic Rock specialises in tuition in guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals. All of our tutors are enhanced CRB registered and have extensive experience both in their instrument and in working with young people.
We offer private, one on one tuition for all abilities where students have the flexibility to dictate the pace and content of what they would like to learn, tailoring their lessons to suit their taste in music.
Private lessons can roll on from term to term for as long as the student would like to continue. Private tuition is available for guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals for students age 11 upwards- there is no upper age limit so adults are welcome!
A fun alternative to private lessons, we also offer group lessons which follow a set 10 week syllabus, taking students from beginner through to advanced level. Group lessons illustrate skills and techniques learned by applying them to a classic or contemporary rock/pop song, demonstrating how music theory works in a real life setting.
Group lessons are currently available for guitar, drums and bass for 11-17 year olds.
We run a number of band workshops with guitarists, bassists, drummers and vocalists all in the same group. Workshops tend to focus on other aspects of music such as live performance, songwriting or recording and involve less theory and technique than group lessons. They revolve around working in a band situation with other musicians and have a large social element.
We run workshops for 8-11 year olds, 11-16 year olds and also for adults.
Available for guitar, drums, bass and vocals.
